|On January 1, 1969 Agrolet was renamed to "SLOV-AIR, podnik pre leteckú činnosť" (commonly written as "Slovair") and the headquarters moved to Bratislava. The company further expanded activities of Agrolet. Helicopter fleet had been upgraded with Mi-8, starting in 1972.|
After Velvet Revolution (1989) monopoly of ČSA and Slov-Air on air services was lifted in March 1990. Slovak government prepared plans to establish national airline based on Slov-Air (this happened in 1995, see Slovak Airlines). Slov-Air, however, started to disintegrate in the meantime. Some bases and their fleets were transformed into independent companies, regional medical transport was taken over by private companies or by air force and the rest was privatized in 1992 into Aero Slovakia.
